RAPIDFIRE BULLETS #03 JULY 2010 RAPIDFIRE BULLETS JUL 2010 Road Worrior To iPad? Data Fails RAPIDFIRE BULLETS

From the GM's Desk

Welcome to the New Financial Year

Welcome to Rapidfire Bullets July 2010. This edition has taken a direction of backups both at home, and in the office. We’ve got two great articles on keeping your data safe and secure, and most importantly, easily accessible. Also, with all the hubbub surrounding Apple at the moment, we’ve done a review on the shiny new Apple iPad to give you an insider overview.

As the new Financial Year begins, we bid a fond farewell to 09/10 and start afresh with 10/11 – the year of Managed Services. When the total figures come in, there’s always that ‘oh dear’ moment when you realise how all those expenses really add up, particularly the adhoc spending of IT. That’s why Rapidfire offers a stand out service on Managed Services, that allows you to set a yearly budget for your I.T., without any hidden surprises.

Rapidfire has found that as companies start the arduous process of tax time and budgets for the coming year, many of the down falls of last year’s spending are duly noted with a ‘not this time’ approach. I.T. can often be in that category, with overspending from your day-to-day I.T. issues and ad hoc spending as problems arise throughout the year. Rapidfire provides a mission of pre-emptive I.T., so that your systems don’t take your I.T. to the point of no return. Rapidfire offers a number of options that provide a pro-active service, monitoring your systems, network and associated I.T. infrastructure. Our account managers present monthly reporting with emphasis on advising and maintaining the upkeep of your I.T. network, machines and systems.

I’ve found that with running a business, the more that I can include in the budget, and stick to, the smoother the business operates; and why shouldn’t I.T. expenses be something you plan for? That’s why Rapidfire understands the need to manage your business and takes the worry out of dealing with your standard break/fix I.T. Rapidfire is at the forefront of Managed Services in Brisbane, so find out more about budgeting on your I.T. and banking on service second to none.

Happy New Year!
