Windows 7, released 22 October 2009, is the latest available Microsoft Windows operating system. Windows 7 includes a wealth of new features including “HomeGroup”, which takes the headache out of sharing files and printers on a home network,

“Jump Lists”, providing speedy access to your favourite pictures, songs, websites and documents, as well as easy access view of all of your running programs, known as ‘Aero Peek’.
Windows 7 features a highly polished and much more intuitive user interface. While it improves upon the slick looks of Vista; it is a full replacement operating system, and much more than just “Vista done right”.
In short, Windows 7 is everything that Windows Vista should have been. By addressing all of the real problems in Vista and adding in a slew of new features, Microsoft have created a stable operating system - an excellent upgrade and essential purchase if you’re buying a new computer.
